• April 5 - 8 processions make their way through the streets during Easter. A gorgeous show worth seeing especially in cities like Seville, Malaga and Granada.

• April 24 - 29 La Feria de Abril, in Seville, is the festival that presents a true picture of a vibrant and colourful Spain. Perfect for those who love Flamenco and parading on horseback.

• May 15 the madrileños celebrate the public holiday of San Isidro Labrador, the patron saint of Madrid. Discover the Chotis, Chulapos, Castizos and Cocido, the Madrid´s most famous dish. From the Friday before May 15th the streets explode into life more than ever! 

• June 4 - 10  Corpus Christi in Granada. The festivity features processions, flamenco shows, bullfights and all of the typical light-hearted Spain traditions. Joint the most spectacular Corpus Christi celebration!

• Semana Grande de Santander is amongst the biggest festivals held in Santander and takes place each year at the end of July. There are events happening all over the city, free music concerts of all types in various locations and over 40 tapas huts run by local bars and restaurants set up all over the city.

• August 10 - 19 The Feria de Malaga commemorates the re-conquest of the city from the Moors by the Catholic King and Queen, Fernando and Isabel in 1487. The Malaga fair is an exuberant week-long street party with traditional costume, horse carriages, live music, plenty of flamenco and 'fino'(sherry).

• August 15 - 21 La fiesta mayor de Gràcia in Barcelona. The streets become filled with neighbours and visitors, colourful decorations, art and flowers... Not to mention the fireworks! Live music and street entertainment start the week long celebrations Festa Major de Gracia.

• August 18 - 26 La Semana Grande. Bilbao celebrates its Basque heritage during 9 days with festivities that take over the streets. You cannot miss it!

• October 6 - 14 Fiestas del Pilar in Zaragoza. It is the major autumn holiday, in honour of the patron saint of the city, the Virgen del Pilar. Theatre, concerts, traditional events such as the Flowers Offering or the Crystal Rosary bull fighting and many more events fill the streets with fun, colour and entertainment.

• March 15-19, 2013 The Valencian Fallas, the fiesta of fire, is a traditional celebration held in commemoration of Saint Joseph, the patron saint of carpenters. During Las Fallas celebrations, Valencia turns into a big popular, participative, and diverse and colourist space for fiesta.
